About Liam Diethrich

Liam Diethrich is a composer and violinist originally from the Chicago area. He began composing in middle school and, by age 13, had his music performed by full orchestras. Liam holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from The Juilliard School, where he studied with Andrew Norman and Robert Beaser, and a Master of Music in Screen Scoring from USC, where he studied with Lawrence Shragge and Michael McCuistion.

His work has been recognized by ASCAP, The American Prize, and the Maurice Ravel International Composition Competition. He’s scored films screened internationally and taught students who have gone on to elite conservatories and programs.
